Imi Stoglin “The Sixteenth Year” is the first book in a series of books. It is an adventurous, full action, mysterious and magical love story full of farriers, shape shifters, vampires and witches. Imi is a young girl that wakes up one day not knowing where-and more importantly, who-she is, at least not until after she was surveying her father’s library and uncovers the ancient book and a collection of yellowing letters. Imi (Imara Stoglin) is a Dhampiretwich (human vampire witch) that can see the future, change things with her mind, posse’s magical powers and controls the elements. Imi is not aware that she in reality is a Dhampiretwich all she knows for sure is that her family is strange and getting stranger by the seconds.
Imi is struggling with her own identity when she falls hopelessly in love with the very thing that she might end up killing. When Imi finds herself in a mystical world that she never knew existed she is drawn closer to her own destiny. Imi’s life takes thrilling and terrifying turns. Then she suddenly realizes “When you finally meet your destiny, it is like nothing you have ever experienced. You instantly know that this is the part of you that has always been missing. Like the rise of the phoenix when eyes meet eyes, you know you are his and he is yours for all of eternity.”
Imi is beginning to doubt everything she knows to be true. This magical love story captures a young girls struggle between defying her instincts and satisfying her heart’s desire. Is it the fairies that are leading Imi astray or something much more sinister? Imi is forced by the Guardians to fight a battle, good versus evil, in order to save mankind. Will Imi be strong enough to survive or will she perish along with all mankind? Or was Imi born to save the world from the opening of the seven seals?
