Jamie McCall, Henry Buchmann and Ken Cameron, award-winning and accomplished actors, writers and producers, have announced that their new TV series, which has been in the writing and planning stages for the better part of a year, has secured the technical advisory services of Robert M. Schoch, associate professor of Natural Science at the College of General Studies, in addition to an American astronomer known for SETI research. The two new advisors join Robert Bauval, Belgian author, lecturer, and Ancient Egypt researcher, best known for his Orion Correlation Theory, and David Michael Rohl, an English Egyptologist and former director of the Institute for the Study of Interdisciplinary Sciences (ISIS.) Rohl has put forth several revolutionary theories revising the chronology of Ancient Egypt and Israel to form an alternative new chronology.
Described as “Charlie’s Angels meets Indiana Jones,” the series, “Detective Samantha Sturgess,” is being written by Buchmann and lead actress and Producer Jamie McCall. According to McCall, the new series combines mysticism with adventure, sci-fi and the paranormal. “The series will embrace ‘state-of-the-art’ science and the expertise of the distinguished advisors who will attest to the historical accuracy of the stories.” says McCall.
According to Buchmann, “The series follows three women with extraordinary abilities that rival those of Indiana Jones. Detective Sturgess and her cohorts are beauties that team up and use their knowledge of Shaolin Kung Fu fighting, extraordinary paranormal forces and ancient mysticism to fight for justice and truth around the world.”
“Detective Samantha Sturgess” will feature an all-star ensemble cast and includes adventurous episodes such as “Pearl Harbor” and “The Temple of Kali.” The lady sleuths travel around the world and across time solving puzzling cases and rescuing ancient powerful artifacts. Episodes are completed through Season 3 of the series.

Robert M. Schoch is an associate professor of Natural Science at the College of General Studies, a two-year non-degree granting unit of Boston University. He is a proponent of the Sphinx water erosion hypothesis.
